Séance photo Magazine Cazi Cazi

that, on the way to go to my appointment at the Kyoto Physio hair salon for our photo shoot tryouts, I got asked on the street to pose for the magazine Cazi Cazi Hair.

Too bad, i didn't actually know what was this magazine, although having seen it a few times in a combini or showed by some hairdressers with whom I worked, I had no idea what to expect. And I was pleasantly surprised

1: After one year of modeling in Japan, actually being published in a Japanese magazine is a big first for me!
And plus  I'm gonna get two full pagesI can not believe how awesome that is !
2: After our first meeting for the hairstyles I was really excited to pose for this salon.
Everyone is sooo nice and funny and we all got along real fast so that's cool

What I really like when working with hairdressers is their contagious passion. I actually well remember the first time  I've posed for a hair salon because I was truly touched and impressed.
At first, I felt bad for those hairdressers who worked so hard, sometimes even until after midnight, training with their modelslearning new skills...
I thought to myself "oh ... it's after midnight and they're still working, without even taking time to eat or going home... Working in Japan is really hard I guess,  even hairdressers get no rest !"
Big misunderstanding, I was wrong.

They do not workthey're creating art.
"It's not a job, it's a passion" anwered a hairdresser that works in Yamashina when I asked why they were still working at 11pm.

It's easy to understand on photo shoots. Hair and make up often take more than 4 hours!

Every little detail is important and they won't stop until they judge that everything is perfect and that's where my admiration begins.
My neophyte eyes do not see that this hair that's falling on my cheek there is in total asymmetry  to the volume of the profile ....

It was proved again today with more than 5 hours of preparation for only 30 minutes of actual pictures time.
Were here: the four models, the hair and makeup staff, the magazine's stylist and photographer and even the EDITOR IN CHIEF of Cazi Cazi.

I have another photo shoot scheduled for the same magazine friday outside in kamogawa this time and in Yukata please!

This month is crazy busy !

Have already done two photo shoots the past month and have three other ones on the way for May and June!  Yay !

The first set of pictures is for the Trace Hair Salon in Osaka.
Ok, I know how it may look like but don't be fooled by the outfit it's not gonna be "sexy"!
The idea was "edgy and broken poses".
I really, really enjoyed this photo shoot and can't wait to see the actual pics !!! I think it looked really cool!

The second set of pics was taken at the studio with my friends Ken chan (Hair and Make Up) and Morishita kun (Photographer) two weeks ago.
The inspiration for this photo shoot was the french movie "Amelie Poulain" so he moved my hair up to make it look short and did an oldies style make-up which was really pretty.

As for the last  set of pics , they were taken today at the Physio Hair Salon for which I've already worked last year ( my first "hair show" in april 2011).
Remember I had "the earth" on my head???

This time it's gonna be for their magazine !
